jk. it's about a resolution that ran through student senate last year and what i learned from it. i don't know if it is 100% usable but it a rough draft has been written and it is 247 words.

I thought Yale doesn't release decisions until after Feb/March. Does anyone know what the 1 and 8 acceptances are in Nov and Dec, respectively?

Last year Pacifica was accepted before Xmas.

Last year Pacifica was accepted before Xmas.

There were two other TLSers who were accepted before Xmas. Ti Malice(spell wrong?) and E something. Can't remember his username.

Hmm, I thought I read somewhere on Asha's blog that while decisions could be made before Xmas, they aren't released until everyone else's decisions are released? Did these early admits have special circumstances?

I believe you're thinking of someone else. I didn't go complete until January (two years ago), and I was accepted a few weeks later in February.

But very strong applicants who apply early often get in before the holidays. The first wave of rejections usually doesn't hit until February.

This is what I'm wondering too. I had no problems coming up with ideas for my PS, but for some reason I'm stumped about what to do for my 250.

Asha also wrote an opinion piece for some publication about demystifying admissions, and she ends up bashing consulting services as something less-well-off applicants can't afford and are therefore put at a disadvantage by. So there's that.

I was wondering this same thing. I'll have to look closer. I got the impression that this post-college activities was supposed to be more of an essay than anything.

Is everyone submitting a resume even when a lot of it overlaps with the college activities section?
I'm K-JD, so most of my resume fits right into 'college activities.'
I was wondering whether submitting a resume would be unnecessary in my case.
