i think it depends on your stats and how badly school wants you. They send me a confirmation email in mid-November and until i got in on 1/31 i heard nothing from them..good luckbcoco9292 wrote:I went complete beginning on November...anyone have any idea when I should be finding out?

This thread has been so dead. Sorry. I seriously plan on going to ASW and matriculating-after they accept me.hernanmi wrote:Anyone going to ASW? Anyone seriously considering matriculating?

Also, for anyone who may know, how many folks are getting full rides or close to full rides at UCI these days?
Is it easy to get CA residency?

ETA: If you went to high school and graduated in CA, then you'll get CA tuition regardless of whether you've lived there immediately prior to matriculation.

1L here. Not big law oriented but if you are the info below is probably of interest. Class of 2013: 14 out of 81 at nlj 250 firms.
https://docs.google.com/a/lawnet.uci.ed ... ring#gid=0
http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... 1&t=225116
It'll be interesting to factor in clerkship numbers. Also, I believe this class had at least a 1/2 scholly. There might be some public interest/non-biglaw self selection.

When I checked with them the other day they said they were running at 8-10 weeks for decisions. Schools have lost applications. I don't think it would hurt to call them and ask about timeframe. They may subsequently ask your name to check on your file.bcoco9292 wrote:Complete since early November...getting a little impatient

I called and was also told of a 8-10 week timeframe. However, it has been at least 12 weeks for me. The woman who I spoke to on the phone said its generally a good thing that I haven't heard back because that means they are still considering me? Also, I asked when is the latest I could hear back and she said she there is no way to answer that.Moltenmama wrote:When I checked with them the other day they said they were running at 8-10 weeks for decisions.
