IN! Just got the e-mail! Tiger Woods fist pump! First TLS hold->admit!

Super-de-duper splitter (170+, sub-3.0), but with 5 years of WE, most of it legal.

Did an off-campus out here on the West Coast in November. I visited the campus and spoke with the office back in March. Don't know if it helped much, but it definitely didn't hurt, and I have to think it got me some name recognition when it came down to crunch time. PM for more details.

Was rejected from Chicago this afternoon, no news yet from Northwestern. Congrats to all of you that made it in today, hopefully this isn't the only batch of acceptances...

P.S. My status date via the online status check hasn't changed at all since the first hold letter decision date. Is everyone else seeing the same thing? Or did ppl see their status date change recently? I wonder if there is a way to tell if they are re-reviewing our apps or not yet.

I was told a while back that for those on hold, the status checker will not change until a final decision (in/out/wl) has been made.

Thanks for the info!! Now I can stop obsessively staring at my status checker all day haha. I guess it'll just be more waiting for the rest of us until we get a final decision. Sigh
