My own two cents: No. I would venture that many GTown admits, wait listed candidates, and rejects apply to GW and are admitted. I once read that GW=Georgetown Waitlist.

I don't think GTown would care, honestly. GTown is T14 whereas GW is not (though still an excellent institution). Status seems to be the name of the game w/law school admissions.

When did you apply/last hear from GTown?

Thanks, I'm inclined to agree with you. I got held at Gtown in mid December after having a very positive alumni interview a couple weeks earlier, and have not had any status updates, even post interview. I'm still standing at Application Completed as of 11/13, which worries me. In mid January I did send in an additional Gtown-specific LOR, LOCI, updated transcript, and updated resume that had two new publications and a newly declared emphasis in my second major. Basically I'm just worried and anxious, as everyone is lol thanks for the advice.

No worries. My situation is quite similar. Just hold tight! You can always send another LOCI/update. I strongly suspect you'll receive word this week. They did promise you by 2/28, right?

Just got my 3rd update at GULC since my hold in January. Updates on the 12th, 14th, and now today. Hoping good news is coming!

No updates for me yet. I'm not really expecting any of us to get acceptances at this point, though.

Just had my third update after being held in early January: 2/13 -- 2/14--2/19

Hopefully the three-update rule is true and a decision comes soon!

Nothing for me yet. Last week it seems like people got hold emails about an hour later, but they had updates later in the day.

Yeah, I don't think my interview went that well, plus my numbers didn't help. I did write what I thought was a decent LOCI, but the damage may have already been done.

Finally an update to my app, the first since I got ED-deferred in mid-December. Looks like they'll hit me before Feb. 28 after all.

Anxiously awaiting decisions results from those of you who had updates throughout the last week or two, if only to see what I can expect! Best of luck to everyone.

3/1 is their JD app deadline so I guess by 2/28 they should have a really good idea of how their applicant pool looks like
