I applied for the Honors Program, and was looking forward to withdrawing my application when I didn't get the call. Got a full ride though, so I guess I have to keep on considering CK.

For those following the status check: Scholarship award arrived with acceptance letter but was dated 3 days after status check said it was sent. I received both 10 days after the sent date on status check.

You can always back out after paying your seat deposit, but the money is non-refundable.

So any advice on Kent or DePaul. Kent was generally where I thought I was headed, but then DePaul gave me 15k a year no stip.

Are they really pretty much equal? Even if DePaul is dropping lower in the rankings?

From what I hear, they're fairly equal.

Edit: I suggest researching which school has more graduates working in different "big law" firms in Chicago, or whatever location you decide to practice law. From what I gather, there is about the same number of Kent grads as there are DePaul grads in at least 3 of Chicago's top law firms according to NLJ.

Or, you know, go to the school offering you more money?

Generally the consensus in Chicago is that Kent and Loyola are roughly on par, with DePaul significantly less well-regarded. The rankings tend to reflect this.
