Ya I love seeing people w/ similar numbers get in places when I'm still waiting. Its climbing my list because of the offer and location. I'm also a bit worried about employment, but it seems pretty strong in the region and I love the region. I was kind of worried the out of state thing would be an issue, but it didn't seem to. Good luck!hobie2515 wrote:Congrats rabbit! You and I have very similar numbers (and we're both Texas residents) so it's encouraging to see you with these kinds of offers. Are you strongly considering Colorado? I applied as well though I worry about the legal market in this area.
Maybe they are using snail mail?iamsupergrover wrote:went to 'decision rendered' this morning, but no email. maybe if i refresh one more time......nope.

No, but was wondering if they're really interested or...wannabelawstudent wrote:It wasn't from Campos was it?tch562 wrote:Has anyone else gotten emails from professors offering advice/help?
CU wouldn't be so TTT as to send multiple people the same professor email. I think admissions encourages professors to take an interest in prospective students. I would assume that the professor who contacted you took an interest in your resume/personal statement and hoped to begin a dialogue.tch562 wrote:No, but was wondering if they're really interested or...wannabelawstudent wrote:It wasn't from Campos was it?tch562 wrote:Has anyone else gotten emails from professors offering advice/help?
Communicate now with those who not only know what a legal education is, but can offer you worthy advice and commentary as you complete the three most educational, yet challenging years of your law related post graduate life.

Thanks, I just never expected law schools to be so outgoing. I've received personal messages (ironically) from the three schools at the top of my list, and wasn't sure if that's just something they do for everyone 'cause my numbers aren't impressive at all! Guess my resume and PS (which was great if I do say so myself) really helped.Lord Randolph McDuff wrote:CU wouldn't be so TTT as to send multiple people the same professor email. If you are URM, I know they specfically will give your info to student groups and tell them to talk to you. Perhaps they do the same with professors.tch562 wrote: Thanks, I just never expected law schools to be so outgoing. I think professors have a template they work with but the emails they send out aren't just "Wheee! Bcc!" (At least that's my understanding from talking to a few other folks and comparing notes.) You should feel free to email anybody in admissions with questions, too. I dropped by the other day and chatted with one of them for 20 minutes or so, and they set me up with the career development office to talk through job prospects as well. Nice folks.tch562 wrote:
