It seems, based on this website and lawschoolnumbers, that USD hasn't sent out any waitlist notifications or rejections yet.... kind of frustrating b/c the other schools i've applied to do them all pretty much at the same time so when april's deposit deadline passes, they can start accepting people off the waitlist. Not sure what the implications of this could be. However, judging from last years notification dates it seems like they started sending out wl/rejections right around this time....fingers crossed

I think favorable news is in your future. USD tends to be fairly forgiving of low GPAs and if I recall correctly your LSAT is right around 161 or so. Which suggests you are at or around their median. Anyhow, good luck! Keep us all updated!

has anyone tried to negotiate and/or successfully negotiated a scholarship with the fin aid office yet? i think i'm going to give them a call soon, but was wondering if any of you know if they have a scholarship adjustment form

also, if you're strongly considering attending usd, pm me! i'm definitely considering the school and would like to hear your input on why you like the school

Would I be wrong to say I was kind of expecting a little more money? 164 with international transcript/GPA - LSDAS says Above Average...

I applied on Jan 31, decision rendered Feb 12 but I only found out when I got a Welcome to MySD Law Portal email that started with "Congratulations again on your admission". Huuh

I'm not checking my stat checkers...

Waitlisted as of 3/14. I expected a flat-out rejection, as I considered USD a reach for me. Still, if the stars align to get me off the waitlist (and I somehow do not get in to SCU), USD would be my top choice.

This was my first notification this cycle. Hopefully more good news comes my way soon.

Based on the last couple posts and the recent LSN updates it looks like the decisions released this week may have all been denials or wait-list. Doesn't look good for me. I pretty much expected to get in, but the long wait had me wondering what was up and now this. Oh well.

Sorry to hear about the WL, dmgoor. Since you're the one who started this thread I'm guessing you really wanted it... There's still time.
