Re: University of Georgia c/o 2016 applicants (2012-13 cycle)
The more I've thought, the more I like the idea of attending Georgia. I still have a lot of applications that are pending, but UGA is almost certainly going to be in my top 3-4 as I start campus visits. I'm like others: really interested in scholarship possibilities. Hopefully we'll hear something soon on that front.

The cost, as an in-state student is amazing. With some scholly money it'd be hard to turn down.

My box for the application status checker moved to the bottom of my screen instead of the top. The message is still the same, but everything rearranged. Did this happen to anyone else?

Same as well. I think they are just trying to make my 50k compulsive status checks even more tedious.bandenjamin wrote:Sametlink1990 wrote:My box for the application status checker moved to the bottom of my screen instead of the top. I really should just accept that I can wait for the stupid email.

From perusing the various forums, it seems like a lot of schools are doing once a week decision releases. Has anyone else noticed that? Part of me feels like I should take Friday off from checking statuses for my own sanity, and start up again on Monday. I hope Georgia proves me wrong.

Sometimes it's once a week. Sometimes not. Easiest thing for me to do is just check the TLS forums as I usually do and get a "heads up" when some statuses have changed. That way you don't worry about obsessing over the status checker since someone else does it lol.fragrock wrote:From perusing the various forums, it seems like a lot of schools are doing once a week decision releases. Got my packet today. One piece of paper telling me congrats, plus a bumper sticker. No scholly info.

And I agree about someone calling to ask about scholarships. I'm interested in that info as well.

Called a few weeks back and they said January-ish for scholarships, but it didn't seem too well confirmed.

Haha! I can't remember if I applied ED and forgot because of my insane-hectic life or if my insane-hectic life led me to rush and write my name in a certain place on the application without knowing. Either way, a sign is a sign! UGA has always been my favorite school of all time. Thanks!LittleBlueBird wrote:From what you've said, that seems like the best choice for you.
