Just got the call! Exciting to hear back. Sounds like previous admits didn't hear about scholarships until after the admissions call, so maybe they'll be some news coming soon!

In via phone call. I'm in state and was offered 15k a year, pretty disappointing because I was expecting a full ride. Will try and negotiate a better offer soon.

Hm. Well, if you heard about scholarship on the phone, that doesn't bode well for my earlier theory of hearing later. Darn, was hoping for at least a little $.elderpisimo wrote:In via phone call. I wouldn't lose hope yet being above both medians. Some people have gotten their scholarships via email after receiving a scholarship application email. I received the application towards the end of Dec. and they said I will hear this month.fragrock wrote:Hm. Was worried when I didn't get a call yesterday but just got the call this morning! Looks like they're still accepting people today

Placed on hold. FML, hopefully this goes better than Georgetown's hold category which I was dinged from yesterday.

I also got the call today! I wasn't by my phone so I just got a message. Unfortunately there was no mention of any scholarship on the message.

Yeah I'm really disappointed. My GPA is what's holding me down, but i though my LSAT being 2 points higher than median (guessing that must make it somewhere near the 75th) would at least get me in.2012Lsatscore wrote:Dammit! Definitely, but really disappointing still, especially since I've already been accepted into higher ranked schools -_-2012Lsatscore wrote:Hold is ALWAYS better than WL or deny tho so hang in there!slawww wrote:Yeah I'm really disappointed. I'm assuming everyone that got in received a phone call?

Believe so. According to this thread and LSN, it seems like they haven't dinged anyone yet.dancoats17 wrote:I'm assuming everyone that got in received a phone call?

My account was updated on January 11 2013 to "Decision made and will arrive by mail." I think it's safe to assume it is a rejection letter. Thoughts?

What're your #'s, if you don't mind? Maybe it could be a WL?dancoats17 wrote:My account was updated on January 11 2013 to "Decision made and will arrive by mail." I think it's safe to assume it is a rejection letter. Thoughts?

160 is usually their floor for people with lower GPAs, good luck though.slawww wrote:dancoats17 wrote:159

1L here
FSU is really weird about stips. Some years they are on and some they are off. Last cycle they were on for some so guess you guys lucked out. Even so I talked to the Dean of admissions and she said that less than 1% actually lose their scholarship because of gpa and I can confirm that after my fall 1L my grades even after being crushed by property (damn you Rule of Perpetuities) I am still decently above the stip of 80 (equating to a 1L rank so far of about 40th percentile).
To put into perspective my numbers were 164/3.2 and I was a science major in undergrad.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
