I just got my second "under review" update. I wonder if theirs is a 3 step process.

Re: BC 2012-2013 Applicants
My status has said under review since Nov. 7th and the date hasn't changed at all since. It probably means nothing, but I'm going to obsess over what the difference may mean anyway.

Re: BC 2012-2013 Applicants
Last year, I believe the status checker changes to 'Decision Rendered' followed by an email w/video if accepted. If rejected, it just says decision rendered and you receive a letter in the mail. Not sure what happens if WL. Can anyone else confirm?danitt wrote:How does BC notify?

Re: BC 2012-2013 Applicants
Received the same email about my application. 170/3.2 Hoping to get some solid splitter love from BC. I'd consider BC w/ some money to T14 at sticker. Especially since I would love to live and work in MA! Also anyone have any clue as to why they are ranked lower than BU? I didn't even apply to BU. Lower employment prospects and I hear that their Law building is a joke.

Re: BC 2012-2013 Applicants
today my status updated to
"This email is to confirm that your application for admission to Boston College Law School is complete. The Committee will be reviewing completed files for our admission process and decisions are rendered between 8-12 weeks after your file is complete (current status date).
If you have registered for a future LSAT, please be aware that your file will not be read until we have received the score from that test.
*Please note that the items under "Requirements List" Character and Fitness and Prior Law Matriculation are only used when applicable.
If you are in the Boston area, please stop by! We have guided tours of the Law School scheduled throughout the year on Monday, Thursday and Friday. You are welcome to visit a class and experience the BC Law difference. For more information, please visit our web site at: http://www.bc.edu/schools/law. We wish you the very best and do not hesitate to call the admissions office at (617) 552-4351, or email us at bclawadm@bc.edu if you have any questions."
But I have been complete for weeks now. Also my staus date changed to today. Does that mean I'm going to have to wait ANOTHER 8 to 12 weeks from today, or do you think the date change means I might be moving through review? I hate all of this waiting and speculating!!!

Re: BC 2012-2013 Applicants
I don't think you'll be dinged. maybe WL. but this cycle could be the least competitive one we've had in awhile. If you do get in, I wouldn't be surprised if you got some $. probably not a huge amount but BC seems relatively generous and once they accept you, they will work to get you to go.generaltoast wrote:Applied Nov 13th.
