Yesterday late afternoon sometime I believe. I checked it at night and it had changed to file under review. Didn't write Why Duke but had paragraph in PS so I am worried that I haven't actually received the decision email yet.

look on the bright side, for most schools, that status will last months, not hours... :mrgreen:

that being said, i'm also in the same situation and not being very productive at work today with the constant refreshing

Not sure if this helps, but I received my e-mail around 2:00 PM Pacific time. Not sure when the app status checker changed because I honestly wasn't checking.

Seemed like my status changed yesterday to under review right at the end of the day (also when people started posting about admissions decisions). Might have to wait until 5, folks...

Going crazy. File been under review since yesterday. Going to be crushed if I'm rejected as Duke is one of my top choices. Hoping to receive an answer today so I can chill out and be productive the rest of the week at work.

Has anyone received a rejection over email? Maybe they do those snail mail which is where my letter is

The email I received after confirming I was applying through Accelerated ED, which is obviously different from PT, said "When your application becomes complete it will receive an immediate, comprehensive review and we will e-mail a response within ten days. The response may be a notification that you have been admitted, denied, waitlisted, or held for further review by the Admissions Committee." So it appears that regardless of the decision, it should be an e-mail.
