I also think we should start a pool. Everyone puts $5 in and you get to pick a date for when WL-KB1s start to roll out again. Winner takes all.

Good luck, guys! I'm a rising 3L at HLS.
Just wanted to give you a cheerful anecdote to lighten the mood in here!
One of my best friends got off the WL with a 166/4.0. Non-URM female with limited work experience. She destroyed OCI and is about to start her summer at Cravath.
Wishing you all the best! Just because it seems hopeless, it really isn't! Yay for Class of 2015!

You're welcome guys!
I know misery loves company, but I think it loves encouragement just a little bit more <3
Stay positive! Making the WL at Harvard Law is pretty damn huge! You are all as deserving as my friend, I'm sure of it! And always remember you're so not out of the game. Trust me!

Re: Harvard Waitlist 2012
To add some numbers into this thread.
WL Acceptance Info, from LSN
2010-2011: 18 Accept. Total WL: 128. Acceptance Rate: 14.1%
2009-2010: 17 Accept. Total WL: 141. Acceptance Rate: 12.1%
*Effective Acceptance Rate will be higher because people withdrew from the WL throughout the period. In 2010-2011, 31 people withdrew from the WL. Effective Acceptance Rate for that year becomes 18.6%
For those Accepted:
2010-2011
Average LSAT (non-URM): 171.9. High: 174. Low: 170
Average GPA (non-URM): 3.89. High: 4. Low: 3.79
2009-2010
Average LSAT (non-URM): 171.9. High: 179. Low: 166
Average GPA (non-URM): 3.88. High: 4.1. Low: 3.4 (Had the 179). Also a 3.64.
Qualitative notes: A lot of people getting in seem to have a 170-173 with a 3.8-3.9. Very rarely did they dip below a 3.8 GPA or 170 LSAT for non-URMS (4 times each).

Are the averages for all WL, or accepted WL folks?
