According to law school numbers someone got off the wait list yesterday with $$$. Their number were right at the median. So there is movement and it appears they still have money. Still waiting...

Anecdotally, I heard from a 3L at Emory a few days ago that they offered someone a spot from the waitlist a day before school started in his class. (she took the spot)

Just received the email myself. Honestly, I was assuming they were done admitting at this point.

I have just been accepted to Emory Law. Classes started today and the earliest I could realistically make it back to Emory from Chicago, where I am completely moved in and bought all my books and have started the first assignments, would be the end of this week, which would put me a week behind in classes from the get go. Not to mention I would have also missed orientation. Also, I would need to find a new apartment that could let me move in immediately. I would also need to break this lease, pack up a truck with all my things, and leave tomorrow. Also, Emory is much more expensive and I would need to re-figure out my loans, which takes time. I am also pretty sure the payment I already made this semester to Loyola is not completely refundable. I need to let the Dean know of my decision by 9 a.m. tomorrow morning Atlanta time. Is it worth it?
