Has anyone tried to call them to check if they received their finaid forms? I faxed mine in yesterday, but I want to check that they received everything.

I emailed them to check after I faxed mine in. They responded pretty quickly.

Spoke to someone this morning, and they said scholarship offers should come out end of march or early april (and perhaps even end of april). As said before, she also recommended extending the deadline for other scholarship offers. Blah.

Just out of curiosity, is anyone else planning to go to the back half of NYU's ASW after Columbia's? Or ditching Columbia early?

I did that at the last ASW, and it worked out fine. I left Columbia after the mock class on the second day. I noticed that some other people skipped NYU's first day entirely, which would have been fine too... although I am glad I came to NYU a bit before dinner, as they had a bunch of fun social activities in the evening.

Dahh, I faxed my forms and emailed them on the same day, and they still haven't gotten back to me! WHYYY (this was early last week)

Is anyone contacting the financial aid office about their other awards? Is this something people do? If so, who did you address it to?

If you're really curious, just call. From what I understand, they only contact you (assuming you didn't email them first) if they don't have your materials, so you should be fine.

What do you mean? Like scholarship negotiation? If so, do it now. Send an email off to the financial aid office.

Yeah you are supposed to RSVP on the admitted student site. For travel subsidies send an email to the financial aid office and they'll email you a form, which you then turn around and email back to them. From there, expect an email notifying you of their decision.

On another note, does any happen to know if non-named scholarships at CLS ever exceed 90k? I know they're generally small, I'm just trying to figure out if there's any chance at all of that happening.

90k is more than a Butler. Pretty sure the non-named scholarships are usually 10-15 per year.

This. I've seen some non-named go higher (e.g., 20k a year), but that seems to be a general range.

There were a few people wearing nice jeans, but the majority of people were going business casual.
