Wonder if I should just be hoping for a waitlist at this point...lawismylife007 wrote:favrefire4 wrote:Stats?lawismylife007 wrote:Got a letter today that I was waitlisted after a decision rendered on 2/29. I'm from LA so that is why I probably got mine already.

Decision rendered 2/28 as well.
I'm excited to see where this goes. Does anyone know if there is any precedent on Pepperdine processing all acceptance/wait list/rejections on the same rendered date?

I got in with a 156 and 3.9, so don't worry, there's still hope! GL!favrefire4 wrote:Still waiting for my letter...expectations are pretty low at this point though.

Has anyone received decision notification electronically? I won't be near my mailbox for 2 more weeks and had a DR on 2/28. I sent an email requesting e-mail notification, but no response.

I tried to get my decision electronically, too, and the office said they have a mail-only decision policy. Good luck!

Are admitted students getting e-mails from Pepperdine for Admitted Students' Day?

I received instructions via email for accessing the Pepperdine intranet about one week after I received the admissions packet.sinisterkid wrote:Has anyone received decision notification electronically? I went DR on 2/21 and got the wavenet invite about a week or so later. I STILL haven't gotten my hard-copy letter though. If I don't recieve it by Friday, I'm blaming USPS and calling admissions to request an email.

Re: Pepperdine 2015
For those who are interested, Dean Tacha sent an email to students this afternoon to alert us to changes that will take place prior to this Fall.
Vice Dean Perrin is leaving Pepperdine to assume the role of President at Lubbock Christian. Professor Rick Cupp is taking over as Vice Dean. His position will swallow up the role of the Academic Dean. As a result of the change, Professors Chase, Gash, and Schultz will be returning to the classroom.
While I hate to see Dean Perrin leave (he is truly awesome), I think that Pepperdine will fare well with these changes. It is exciting that fewer professors are having to give up classes for administrative duties.
Furthermore, Pepperdine is currently engaged in a discussion over changes to the curriculum. While I have no idea how any of this will turn out, some of the proposed changes sound great. I, for one, would love to see the number of required courses reduced.

Re: Pepperdine 2015
I would respectfully disagree. The required courses currently give graduating students an opportunity to do better on the California bar. Federal Tax is the only required class that I believe should be disposed of.utilitarianjac wrote:For those who are interested, Dean Tacha sent an email to students this afternoon to alert us to changes that will take place prior to this Fall.
