I got excited when I saw it, because large envelopes usually contain acceptances and small envelopes usually contain rejections, but nope: it was a rejection. This one hurt more than any of the other ones...I'm so upset about it, I seriously feel like I'm going to throw up in my mouth.
Same story here ... I think it is getting pretty tight this close to the end, especially without residency.

Decided to rule out Utah from my choices today and sent them an e-mail declining admission. It's a great school, but doesn't have the specific academic specialties I want. Hopefully that will be good news for anyone wanting to get off the waitlist. Best of Luck to you all!

I was rejected the other day too and your LSAT was WAY better than mine. I am just know getting up off the floor as I felt like Utah wanted me. Sent a nice letter from a professor and a fee waiver to me. Told me that they really love people with advanced degrees, etc, etc. Fool me once.......

So at what point should those of us on the WL start to worry we aren't getting in? End of May? End of June?
I would guess that the chances drop significantly if you haven't heard soon after the second seat deposit deadline... Is that true?

I got accepted. 159 LSAT, 3.7 GPA. Don't want to live in Utah for the rest of my life though, and with 81% staying in state, I'll take my chances elsewhere! Great program though.

I still haven't heard back from Utah. Am I the only one? No acceptance, denial, or WL. What does this mean?
When is the latest date one should hear back?
Any information would be very helpful.
Thanks!

Unless your numbers are off the charts, I think the odds of acceptance/WL are slim. I have heard that the WL quota has been filled, so people are no longer being added to that. That's probably not what you were hoping to hear, but were I in your position I'd want to know. Good luck whatever happens!

I would just give the admissions office a call and follow up with your application. I don't see how it could hurt at all.

My WL interview is tomorrow. I'm pretty nervous already (which is good news for my fellow waitlisters).

I am sure you will be great. I know that you would love to attend there if possible. Good luck to you.

Well guys, I'm going to be withdrawing this week. While I'd love to go to school here I got into a higher ranked program that's more financially feasible for me to attend than the U. Oh Utah, why couldn't you offer me a scholarship? Anyway. Good luck to everyone and I hope my seat finds its way to someone who really wants it. (here's to you ineptimus! How'd the interview go?)

Meh. I think it went alright, but I don't think I "wowed" anyone. Methinks I'll be at KU unless they (Utah) have to draw heavily from the WL (most in my numbers range were either flat out rejected, or had much better softs). I'm okay with that though. Either way I'll be extremely happy.

I don't know what's more funny:
a) For a split second I thought you were serious.

or
b) For a split second I thought this would actually be a good idea.
Thanks for the kind words!
