I got the exact same scholarship offers that you both did, I'm leaning towards Nova because I don't think there is a significant difference between the two schools to warrant spending the money on Temple. I recently visited Nova and loved it, everyone was great and the building is really nice

Temple and nova have the the same outcomes for students. I think going to the cheaper option for you is almost always the best choice.

Also debating between Temple and Villanova. Villanova would be cheaper for me, as I also got the $3,750 scholarship from Temple. I'm really leaning towards Nova at this point. Beautiful campus, new facilities, and essentially the same school as Temple.

For you 'nova is a better choice. Both are strong regional schools. It would be silly to go to the more expensive option.

I think temple makes a lot of decisions or at least posts them on a friday. I went under review and got in on a friday which seems to be common. Our pinstriped friend probably did not check until sat (or thats my guess for what its worth).

Getting into Temple would be awesome. But I probably won't come close. Still worth a try!

Spoke to the admissions office. I have a few choices. They are as follows:

-Accept admission into their evening program
-Deny the evening program and be placed back into the pool of applicants applying for the standard program. If I am waitlisted to the day program I can request the evening program again and will most likely regain acceptance. However, if it takes more than a month for them to decide to waitlist me it may be too late to reaccept the evening program in which case I may ultimately be denied.

What do you guys think of this?

Is Temple your first choice? If not, I would just wait for the day program and hope for the best. If it is your top choice, I guess it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world to do evening program then move to day next year.

That is essentially what I was thinking. Just wanted some reassurance that I wasnt making a stupid decision by bypassing a sure thing. Thank you.

I've had the complete status since 1/16....I'm dying to hear back. I'm in-state and really close to philly so Temple just seems like it would make a lot of sense. I didnt apply to nova because of the money, but after reading about the scholarships that some of you are receiving I am reconsidering. Do you think I could still get a nice scholly from nova even though id be aapplying so late in the process? my numbers are 163/3.39

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
