Rejection letters have started...just got mine. It was expected though since my scores aren't competitive. Good luck to everyone else.

Snail mail or email? Wow I thought theyd have a few waves of acceptances before rejections.

Snail mail. The letter is dated January 6th.

Got my scholarship letter today with an offer of 8k per year. I'm pretty disappointed as I've got some really good offers from other schools so hopefully I can do some negotiating to get it up to 20-25k per year because I'd love to go to UCI.

Just to clarify, was that need or merit?

Merit. I highly doubt I'll get any need based money.

In order for you to get need-based aid from UCI they require that you put your parents financial information on your FAFSA. Given my parents income (unless the fact that my dad is currently paying college or graduate school tuition for my three siblings means anything) I doubt I'll be getting any sort of need-based aid.

Yowza, I did not know that. None of the other schools I am applying to require my parent's info on my FAFSA. I wonder if it would be worth it to add my parent's info just for UCI? I don't want to hurt myself at the other schools.

I was waitlisted at UCI today! I was pleasantly surprised because my LSAT score was not at their 25 percentile. It gives me hope for my cycle yet!
