Admitted as of today. 4.0/163. Applied 1/3/12.

Any idea when to expect a scholarship offer? And will it be via email, snail mail, etc?

I was just accepted with numbers above Stetson's 75th and hoping for a significant scholarship to consider attending. For those of you who have been accepted and then received scholarship info, how long did it take for them to make you the offer?

Well, I was accepted in early December and just received my scholarship info in the mail today. I am above both 75ths and I got a 1/2 tuition scholarship.

Edited to add that I only live 1.5 hours from the school, so they must have mailed it sometime this week.

I heard back after about a month after being accepted via snail mail. I completed in October.

Good luck to everyone! :D

So I guess I'll have to wait about a few weeks to hear about scholarship info. Thank you for the quick replies!

My status checker changed to decision made/sent by email. Haven't gotten an email yet though. And from the sound of it I'll be waiting for any scholarship info.

My status checker changed to decision letter sent too and haven't received it. Though funny thing is I withdrew my app over a week ago and even received a confirmation email saying that my app has been withdrawn smh.

Stetson staff are awesome! I sent in my application yesterday morning and the status changed to complete in the afternoon. This morning the decision was made and I got the admission email.

Extremely grateful to have just been awarded a full tuition scholly. St. Pete sounds pretty nice this time of year when you live in the Midwest. Definitely have a tough call to make soon :)

... Our Committee, our Faculty Chair, Bobbi Flowers, Darren Kettles and I are impressed with your materials and your recommendations!
Did anyone else who recieved a full-tuition scholarship get that particular message? Just curious, as I've never seen what my recommenders wrote and I'm curious to see if what they wrote was actually impressive or if it was just some default automated message from the scholly committee.

I also received the exact same e-mail. I'm very excited about the scholarship. I also have a free place to stay if I go to Stetson, essentially making Stetson free all the way around. This makes it very attractive. Anyone going to the scholars retreat on February 24-25?

Yea, probably so. I need to make sure I can get off of work first though.

Since it may not be realistic for me to relocate to Tampa, I likely won't be able to accept the offer so my scholarship money will probably be going back into the pot. Will withdraw when the details get worked out. Hope the money goes to one of you folks who's hoping for it!

I'm hoping I can make the retreat... waiting to hear back from work. I noticed that beach time isn't included on the itinerary :(

Can't make it to the scholar's retreat :( I really want to go, but I can't get out of work.

I would encourage those with invitations to the retreat to come if you can. It's a great experience with lots of good food and good programming.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
