Haha, I thought the same thing, though it doesn't really compare to the Penn State email referencing the Sandusky situation.

From what I'm reading on their Admitted Students section, it appears to me next to impossible to achieve residency status without actually working in Illinois (i.e. only residing in the state for education). Am I reading this correctly? Any input from current students?

Given the smaller scholarship awards this year, and given that (I believe) it's been stated the "everyone gets a scholarship" "policy" no longer exists, I'm curious where all that money is going since tuition is not decreasing.

I get the impression that class size will be a lot smaller and the money will go to paying the bills because of it.

In today with 25% scholarship. Didnt post since I was at the gym. Pretty happy but...the scholarship makes COA look scary as hell. Do they negotiate?

Awkward non-acceptance is awkward. Come on! I am in state with decent stats, I know I applied a little late but for reals.

No e-mail.

My heart is sinking. I don't even drink. But I'm contemplating buying alcohol just to forget I ever wanted this.

For the person that asked about scholarship stipulations - last year, the only stip was good standing which is about a 2.0 I believe (you have to screw up pretty hard to fall below that, and if you do, you're on academic probation anyway). Don't know if that will change this year.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
