Just got back from my visit! The building was very new and well maintained, though I don't know if I liked how it felt.. The admission's officer that gave me the tour was very nice and very helpful.

I had the opportunity to look at housing at Canal Square, Riley Tower Apartments, the Avenue.. Riley Tower Apartment's were really nice! I looked at a 21st floor studio, beautiful views! Nice amenities, Concierge, Steam & Sauna, nice Gym..
Canal Square seemed to be massively overpriced, especially for how they looked.. I was definitely not impressed, although it is primo location (RIGHT across from the Law School).

I unfortunately forgot my phone so I couldn't take any pictures It was a droopy overcast day. Also for those that have 50% scholarship stipulations, I found out that the 50% this year was 3.08.

Bam!

Tolson, where do you think you're leaning towards? Did the visit today change anything?

After being waitlisted at Wake, half of me wants to take the money at Indy and run (tuition would be cheaper than my undergrad) and the other half of me wants to take the small scholly at UConn...

I applied on 1/17, complete on 1/26, and no further movement.

I submitted 12/30 complete 1/6 and absolutely no movement since so you might be in for a long wait my friend

My Status checker has had the seat deposit popped up for a while now...... :-/ I can't remember when it appeared but it still says file complete... maybe a good sign haha I hope so! and the Riley apartments are awesome. Pretty sure that is where id want to live if i end up here!

Also not sure what you mean about the 3.08- all of our letters said 3.0 and we got an email to that effect at the end of last semester too. Did they mean for this incoming class?

ETA- Yeah Canal Square isn't that nice for the money but not having to deal with parking would be amazing- our lot basically is full at 8:15 every morning.

I know that my scholarship lists that I must maintain a 3.0 to retain the scholarship. I looked at this year's average scores thus far and it was pointed out that the median GPA is 3.08. I think that the majority of the scholarships say that you must maintain a specific GPA.

You know, I'm not too sure about the feeling. Maybe I have a misperception about what law school will look and feel like since this is my first visit. The building was very nice but I didn't see it to be that inviting.. I am from OSU so there are a LOT of trees and landscaping and hardscaping. Maybe that could be why? The building was almost completely empty, but I was told that this was due to the Super Bowl festivities..

Don't get me wrong, the school is very nice and everything is taken care of very well. The staff members are very friendly.. It's still a top contender!

I don't know the exact dates, but I applied at the end of September.

I applied on 1/17 and went complete 1/19. I went UR on 1/30 ish with a decision on 2/7.

Got my scholarship info in the mail today. Got 13k/year. I'm out of state, so I was hoping for more, especially with the endowment. I'm going to try to negotiate but if they won't give me more there's no point in me going here

wtf? I'm guessing they started to run out of money? 3.3x 159 here accepted in early January non-urm got $35,000/year with the 3.0 stip (OOS).
