it looks like KB was in charge of the admissions cycle the year TS left (i think 08-09?), and from LSN it looks like the timeline was largely the same.

Pulling for you, Nulls. It takes dedication to try again with no safety net. I'm hoping that at the ASW, we'll see the joker clapping maniacally, and I'll come over and get acquainted.

UR = "Under Review" on your status checker
ASW = "Admitted Students Weekend"; basically a weekend for the admitted students to come check out the school

Correct me if im wrong guys but for those of us who submitted as soon as the app opened, and assuming that harvard like us and invites us for a phone interview, shouldnt it be happeneing soon...say within 2wks?

meaning, shouldnt those who havard likes and submitted early expect an email for a phone interview within the next 2 wks or so?

I think Harvard has "rounds" of interviews, the first of which is early November?

No curious, deranged is right. Last year with the same 9/15 submission date, people (good or average or even rejects) went under review at the start of October. Then Oct 6th thgey started sending out JR1 emails for the strongest candidates who interviewed around the 10th. They kept calling for JR1s through mid_Nov, then the last week before Thanksgiving they went back and did all the first round JR2s. It seems a very good sign to get an early JR1, but you still have to wait till around Nov 22nd to get admitted. Many just went under review and didn't get a JR1 till spring (if at all), but the early apps should be ticking over here soon.

I RD'd on 9/7 or whatever like everyone else, had a phone call 9/8 and was in 9/8. I don't know what happened really. I was shocked. I think I must have just got mixed in with some ED candidates or something, they read the file and just made a decision. Hard to say.

ETA: So I got my package with the ED candidates, but there was no scholarship info back then. I got called Friday with the other first round of admits about that aspect. So they found out at the time of admittance that they would get scholarships, whereas I had a delay of about a month since I got in so early.

So I've been ready to submit for a few weeks now, just tweaking my statements and waiting for my final LOR to come in. I already have two in so I could submit, but the one i'm waiting on will most likely be my strongest.

Problem is, he sent it once without the form and just resent it properly last week. It seems LSAC LOR processing has been backed up lately and I don't know how long I should wait around since everything else is already ready to go and I have two LORS, but I have a feeling this one that I am waiting on is strongest.

Basically... what is the absolute latest I should wait to get into the first batch of phone calls / admissions decisions?

Question about the education section - I've taken classes at 4 schools, but there's only room for 3. Did anyone else deal with this?

Doesn't it say to add an addendum in that case? I can't remember. I have more than 3 schools, but I may have just excluded the ones that weren't degree-granting.

Harvard status checker down for anyone else? Went to do my mid-day check-in, but I can't load the page.....tell me we're finally going to see some action start on this thread.

Argh. Maybe it just doesn't like me. It will probably start working again with no change. Sigh.

Same.

My status checker went a little weird a few days ago, but no change. I was really hoping we'd see some files being reviewed soon.
