For a short revival -- anyone have any news?

I retook in June and emailed about my new score. They replied and said the received the lsac report, and that was about it.
No other news from me.

Have spoken with Dean Hoy on the phone several times, currently they are full but they *may* have a few students defer, and they will be replaced as soon as deferral is confirmed. I guess there is a small list of applicants they would seriously consider for those spots, I asked how many and got the feeling it was around ten. (they specifically said less than thirty, with an *around ten* tone)

if that's the case, I wonder why they aren't removing more peopel from the waitlist? Seems to me that the WL is closer to 100 than 30.

Also, was any mention of aid for WL applicants this late in the game made? I didn't want to bring it up while on the WL, but sticker would be tough to swallow.

Well I don't know how many total are on the waitlist, but I keep getting the "are you still interested" type of stuff, and when I called and told them I was and asked realistically what we're talking about here, they said they have a small number of people they're keeping in mind to replace dropouts and I was one of them. I asked if we're talking about like 30 or like 5 and they said "well it definitely isn't 30, it's a small number". Which makes me think 10-15.

And they said aid was definitely still possible for people taken off the waitlist.

I got in off the WL about a month ago and got 60k. They said they had money specifically for people on the WL. I actually got more money then anyone with similar numbers on LSN. So if you get in I would be optimistic, especially if you have another offer from somewhere to tell them about.

Well here's hoping! I just wish I had something more to tell them that would help. Would it be useful/ok to have my recommenders e-mail or call and push for me? I know they would, but I don't know how it would come off this late in the cycle? (i.e. see me as desperate? wonder why I didn't push harder before?)...overthinking I'm sure, but that's what crunch time does.

How many people do you think were offered the ED option? Was it everyone who is still on the waitlist? If so, how many is that?

I think everyone got the offer. They won't say the size of the WL but you gotta figure it's relatively small by now.
