Looks like practically no one got accepted off first reserve (if there were acceptances, this group was so small that LSN and TLS did not pick up on them).

Disheartening, esp. since other WLs (HLS, NYU, UChi, Penn) have seen quite a bit of movement. But not surprising, considering how it was last year.

edit: The Duke WL has also seen a lot of movement, and people on the Duke 2014 thread have said that last year almost no one got accepted off the WL... whyy Columbia, whyyy?

Still no 2nd reserve email or ding letter. Forgotten? At this point it doesn't really matter for me because I'm all set with another option. I'm just awaiting the inevitable so I can cross CLS off and pretty much pack up all cycle info irrelevant to my choice and throw it in a fire.

Thus far, I haven't seen anyone report a reserve acceptance... However, CLS decisions after first reserve have followed the same trend as before (reserves through email, rejections through snail mail), so I'm guessing that acceptances would also be sent out via email.

Does anyone know if anyone was accepted from the first reserve group or if anyone has been accepted from the second yet? I am in the second reserve group but got a very generous offer from Duke that I probably can't turn down and have to give them an answer soon. I am still going to hold out for Columbia because that is my dream school but I am going to feel very bad if I am accepted to Columbia and have to withdraw from Duke after already committing.

I hate waitlists!

That is what their 2nd reserve e-mail said but when I e-mailed them they told me responses from that review in late June wouldn't actually go out until "July."
I put it in quotes because they only said July, no indication of when in July. Vague enough for you? I hate responses like that but I'm guessing it means they will only be notifying a few people at a time and that is why they won't give a more specific time in July.

I guess our decisions may be coming very soon. Last time, rejection letters were received concurrent with the first wave of 2nd reserve notifications.

edit: In case anyone read that the wrong way, I didn't mean to imply that I expect to get into 3rd reserve just because I didn't get a letter today. All I meant was that the decisions should begin rolling out real soon if last month's pattern continues.
