Thanks! UT was the only school that could have pulled me away from St. Mary's. They let me in off the waitlist.

Re: St. Mary's c/o 2015
Is anyone still waiting on a decision from St. Mary's? My application became complete on 01/12/12. I was just curious as to the average wait time with St. Mary's, because I have a deadline from other schools of April 1st for my seat deposit but I really would rather attend law school in San Antonio. Any responses would be appreciated.
Thanks

I applied the day after you and got my decision over a month ago. I would definitely give them a call.Mitchell0704 wrote:Is anyone still waiting on a decision from St. Mary's? I'm still waiting too and also have a deadline. I've heard both ways about whether or not to call them. Some places don't like it, especially if it isn't even April yet.Mitchell0704 wrote:Is anyone still waiting on a decision from St. Mary's? My application became complete on 01/12/12. I really don't think that calling will hurt your chances.

Just visited this past week. I went to STCL, OU, and St. Mary's. I will most likely be attending St. Mary's if OU doesn't take me in.

I just got accepted!! I'm really considering going here now. I was pretty set on going to William Mitchell and about to send in my seat deposit too until I got the letter a couple of days ago.

Re: St. Mary's c/o 2015
Any thoughts on which I should choose??
I really really want to be a JAG (preferably Air Force) and I've read the rank of the school doesn't really matter as much, but in case that doesn't work out, WM's better rep in Minnesota gives me stronger employment prospects. On the other hand I do eventually want to move back to Texas. I just don't know when.
argghh I can't decide >_<.

Is anyone on the wait list for on-campus housing or have any recommendations for a safe & quiet apartment property close to campus?

I'd like to know about a FB page as wellBluewavesix wrote:Is there an accepted students Facebook page? Also, is anyone signed up for the summer 1L skills day thing Aug 14/15?
I'm signed up for the 8/14 Summer Skills and 8/16 Orientation
As for housing in the area: I just moved down here 3 weeks ago, from Dallas. We moved to the Northside (1604 & Blanco Rd) We looked at housing closer to campus, but that area seemed kinda sketchy. We may move closer to campus after the first year.

I'm signed up for the 15th I think. I guess there is no FB page. I should be moving in the next 2 weeks to the medical center. I agree, STMU not in the best neighborhood.dallaslawgurl wrote:I'd like to know about a FB page as wellBluewavesix wrote:Is there an accepted students Facebook page? The medical district seems to be the best option I've found in the SA area. I wish it was closer to the campus but I suppose it'll do. Just signed a lease at the Cinnamon Creek apt complex.

I'm section D ... That doesn't answer your question, but thought I'd throw that out thereBluewavesix wrote:Anyone else in section C? I am just starting to get settled in. Still wondering about that facebook page.
Been in SA since June. Loving it so far.
Anyone else in D, let me know!

I like it very much so far. Have you gotten the books, school ID, or parking decal yet? I think I'm going to take care of that stuff on Monday. It's less than 2 weeks until orientation.dallaslawgurl wrote:I'm section D ... That doesn't answer your question, but thought I'd throw that out thereBluewavesix wrote:Anyone else in section C? I'm in section D, as well. Dumb question, we must wear a suit for orientation, correct!? I've searched the website and have reviewed the info recv'd from St. Mary's, but it doesn't discuss the attire. I guess I'll wear one anyway. I'd rather be overdressed...

I'm not going to St. Mary's either, but isn't it like 100 degrees in San Antonio these days? Dress like you would for the Oyster Bake.Nova wrote:Im not going to St. Mary's but LOL NO.Funk8PigBacon wrote:
