just got an email asking if I wish to remain on the wait list because they're making decisions next week...so I responded and then checked the status checker and it says "decision rendered" and today's date but nothing else....so confused now.

Same. Mine says "Decision Rendered 06/21/2011" - the same day I received that hypothetical email. But still no word...

rising 2L here...Congrats to those that have been accepted. For those of you waiting...visit CUA, then send a letter to the person who gave the tour. Express your continued interest. If you're truly interested in Catholic, then tell them that, and that their decision will make yours easier. I was taken off the wait list the day after I sent an email post-visit, confirming my interest, and was given $$$ same day. It's good to go now when no one is really around, and you have the opportunity to speak with someone. They will remember you. And regarding admin, everyone at CUA has been great since I've been here. So yes, the people complaining are probably bitter, or there's been a change in the admin in the past few years.

A little about me. Moved from the south to DC. Top 5-10% of my class...should be on law review based on my grades (fingers crossed). Was accepted to American as well, along with some other schools in the 30-50 range.

I received the same email last Thursday but have yet to receive an acceptance. I hope last weeks email was a good sign!

Same hereee....it seems like they accept people in big groups, usually on the same day, so I am getting worried. But I think it would say decision mailed if that was the case.

I was accepted 6/30 by email and also given $$. They would like for me to visit the school and by looking at the posts I think I should to see if that amount increases.
