i figured each one wasnt that accurate, but im getting impatient ( but who am i to speak?? i know im far from being the only one) that i havent heard yet, and im trying to figure out where the holes in my application are.

Well if you figure it out, let me know. I am completely lost for why I haven't heard back yet.

I don't think you guys should be worrying so much. Nov is pretty early for decisions. Some people have gotten decisions but the big batches aren't coming out until at least Dec-Jan. Don't count on LSN to be accurate because people don't necessarily update when they get decisions and considering the amount of decisions schools send out LSN is just too small a sample size.

Not hearing anything yet isn't necessarily a bad thing so I don't think we should jump ship yet. As previous people have stated, if they didn't like SOMETHING about our (people who have been in review since 11/2) applications we would have been dinged already. My two cents.

Like I said previously, just because you haven't been accepted doesn't mean you aren't getting in. They could just be holding it for whatever reason - it is a lot better than a swift ding. Remember that.

those that got the email= was it from the same address as the email that sent you your status checker? any spam mail gets deleted after 24 hours, unless i decide it is not spam.

I'm flying to State College on December 11to see the UP campus for the first time. I'm spending a night there. Any notable points of interest I should devote time to?

Is there any reason you are choosing to fly in at such a random time? It seems like it might be a waste of money. In the spring admissions will partially pay for your trip to State College if you are going to attend the Open House. Beyond that, you won't be able to see the inside of the law school...just look at it from the outside. Since that is during finals week, there is security at all the doors to keep non-law students out of the building.

I assume you're coming anyway, so I guess I would suggest just driving around the campus and getting a feel for the area and the location of the school. Maybe try to check out some local places to live. There are a bunch of bars downtown if you want to go out, but you probably won't run into any law students because they will most likely be busy studying. Go see the lion shrine and take a drive by the football stadium. There are a couple good local places to eat, like Inferno and Allen Street Grill, so if you don't want a chain, those are good to check out. Anyway, have fun!

I know its a weird time, but this is going to be one of my only opportunities to go. I cant miss a weekday from work and Dec 11 is one of the few Saturdays I don't work (I've had this Saturday reserved off from work for a few weeks). I'm not sure when my next opportunity will be to visit. I doubt I'll be able to make the open house.

I applied 11/15 and went complete the next morning and now its under review.
I called today to see when I could expect a decision (I'm not known for my patiance) and they said they were trying to get them out before Christmas break but weren't sure if were going to make it, so maybe late January.

Mine has been under review since 11/2 and I called today. They said that it usually takes 4-6 weeks to reach a decision. Tomorrow is 4 weeks to the day for me....

I just went complete today at Penn State Law School. Does anyone know how long it takes to have your file reviewed and a decision made?
