In the packet they mail to you a few days after acceptance, it will say if you are being considered for a scholarship. They hope to have most of them out by mid-March according to the letter.rocon7383 wrote:shame...masterthearts wrote:Hmmmmm! I would have thought I'd get an answer by now with big scholly money. But, haven't heard yet. Cardozo accepted me with schooly and got in at gulc.
I was hoping for full scholly school at BLS. But, without a full scholarhip, I won't be going here.
My status checker says accepted. I am wondering about a scholarship though, anybody hear back from them yet regarding scholarship $? And if so, did your status say accepted WITH scholarship? That would at least prevent the letdown!

For those who are (im)patiently waiting, I wouldn't be too concerned!
I submitted 11/12, went UR 12/15. Heard back from/got into 7 other schools in the mean time and was concerned about Brooklyn (my #2 choice, even though I got into #1), and my parents were convinced I wasn't getting in because I didn't write the optional essay
Went IR 1/24 and then got the accepted email 1/25, followed by some other acceptance emails from alumni/other deans. So I think they're just getting started with sending out acceptances!
3.43/164 for what it's worth. No phone call, but I can update when I get the letter in the mail.

Thanks for the feedback! Quick question: I'm currently at "ready for review", is there an actual "under review" or similar status I should be aware of in the status checker?Woods, Elle wrote:For those who are (im)patiently waiting, I wouldn't be too concerned!

I've been "in review" for a couple of weeks already. No reason to be scared as it seems they are very relaxed when it comes to making decisions.Justathought wrote:Just changed to "in review". Now I'm officially scared.

Yeah, I've been in review for 11/1, so don't think that something exciting is going to happen all of a sudden.. it's probably just another looong wait.lawfreak wrote:I've been "in review" for a couple of weeks already. I've been "In review" since 1/11. Anyone else go under review around that time? Have you heard back or are you still waiting?

My status check does not have a status. Is that normal?

My status checker also had no status at first until about a week in or so. Regarding a different post, i also went in review around 1/11 and have not heard anything yet. I have a bad feeling that it might be a while.URMdan wrote:My status check does not have a status. Is that normal?

Lol it sure seems that way at this point. Although, according to law school predictor, it says "admit" for the part time program (which is what I appied to, how bout u?) with a 94% chance. Assuming that it's somewhat accurate, we may still be in the runninglawschool12345 wrote:lawfreak wrote:My status checker also had no status at first until about a week in or so. Re: Brooklyn Law School 2011 Cycle
Is it a bad idea to email admissions and ask them for an update? I feel as though I have been "in review" for an eternity and aside from the email's and also the BLS Law Notes packets I have not heard a word from them.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
