I'm bored at work so I just thought I'd throw this out there...

I like your chances, I can't imagine they get many "Oh I worked at NASA" applicants.
I'm realllllllly hoping that will help make up for my lower #'s. Come on NU, look beyond the #'s!
Plus Chi is one of my top choices for a city, great place minus the cold! My SO is nearing the end of his surgical residency and he can get a guaranteed top job up there as well (nepotism and such

).
Edit: Smilies fail.

While I've had nothing but good interactions with the admissions folk, it would've been a little nicer if they waited to tweet/FB about it right until they were hitting the send button on the emails.

I think they come out on a rolling basis. A handful at a time. Heck, I thought they came out over a few days even, but I guess I'm nuts.
Wouldn't it (not) be funny if someone hacked northwesterns twitter and sent that out?

My brother is literally taking a final in Con-Law at Michigan right now, so hopefully he'll have a nice voicemail from me when he's done. Although after an 8 hour exam, we'll see.

If I remember right, a year or so ago NU's business school mistakenly admitted some folks...the details are hazy, but I'm sure it happens. If it makes you feel any better, w/ your numbers and WE, you're golden.

LOL- that is absolutely wonderful. Its a business school so they should just have blamed it on new outsourcing.
My numbers + WE = who knows! better knock on wood! I wish I was as confident as you are! And I wish I had your numbers!

while we are all waiting, anyone who went to the campus for their interview, did you think the students were way more laid back than you were expecting? I spent some time at Penn (even sat in some classes) and folks seemed way more on edge there. Although I'm sure the spring (interview) season was part of that.
My only fear with Northwestern has been that I've been told it is very professional, but I think I confused professional for stuffy.

I didn't interview on campus, but did a visit in March, the admissions office was abuzz with college basketball/march madness talk. The few students I saw/interacted with seem cool to me. Personally, I'm really excited by the vibe/slightly older crowd (I'm pretty old) and would much prefer it over the reputed UVA frathouse vibe.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
