I am still "Complete 11/15"

ughhh complete 11/1...i'm never going UR

Yeah, I am never going under review either! Nova is slow as death. I've been sitting at "Complete" since 11/15, and it's not even like my numbers are low for them. I feel like they're really rubbing people the wrong way by taking so long. And yes, I KNOW it takes time.

Just got in today, too! Didn't get an email or anything..just happened to check my status checker. Do you think any info about scholarship money will be in that packet we receive in "5-7 days?"

I have very similar numbers to yours, and I've been in review since early December... Getting mad.

Been complete since 10/07. Pretty absurd.

Well I bet you both will get in soon. Good luck! This cycle has been frustrating for me as well at other schools.

I hope so, I need some financial help. Especially at Nova. I really have no idea how generous they are with scholarship, if I am in contention for any, and when we would find out. But I'm not expecting any in the packet.

I certainly won't be attending without a significant scholarship, so I know where you're coming from. Check out Villanova this year on LSN:

It'll give you an idea of where you stand. Some of the people accepted in the first batch posted scholarship amounts, so I'm assuming we'll probably learn what we'll get when our packets come in. I hope so anyway....

Congrats to all getting in today. For the questions about scholly money, I received a letter about a week after getting in. Not really a "packet", just an acceptance letter and behind it, a scholarship offer. Just a normal sized envelope.

I think they put a bunch of applicaitons in 21 piles ) numbers 1-20 and bulls eye), take a dart and throw it at the board. Whatever number the dart land on, they review that pile and make a decision. Then they put more applications in the reviewd pile and throw again. Once they get to a certain number ( by rollling a dice) of reviewed piles they send out the decisions.

I sent in my ap in late September and have been complete since 10/4 with no movement. I am getting frustrated beyond belief.

Has anyone contacted them to ask how exactly they move people into review etc? Because this is the craziest thing I have ever seen.

they put them all in piles, set the piles up like a hopscotch court, take a big rubber eraser and throw it. Whatever pile it lands on, they review that one, and replace it wiith more applications. They repeat this a few more times, until they throw a dart at a board. Whatever number they hit is the number of piles they have to review before they send out decisions. Rinse and repeat until all piles are gone.

Finally got my waiver, and I'll be applying today. I have some firm connections, so I hope that might help my chances. But in all honesty, I can't see this school being a better investment than Temple. Obviously, quality of life is better. But it's only for a few years.

This is exactly what I'm thinking! The longer they make me wait the more I'm feeling like this isn't worth my time. Yeah maybe that's irrational but I'd rather go to a school that acts like they want my attention.

I just got my letter in the mail congratulating me for being accepted. However, there was no mention in it about a scholarship. Is there another packet or letter coming? I have a 3.99 and a 162, so I was expecting money... I hope there's more correspondence to come....

My scholarship letter was behind my admissions letter in the same envelope. Your numbers are higher than mine (161, 3.8], so I would imagine that you would get some money.

Mine was too and I have lower numbers than both of you.
