I was complete 10/19, but it seems to be fairly random. There are people who were complete earlier and later than me who are not UCR (unless that's changed the last few days).

I haven't been following this thread or my status checker, but I just checked my status:

Current Status: Under Committee Review
Current Status Date: 12/3/2010

I went complete on 10/04.

Just checking in. My status changed to "File Complete" today. My second LOR just came through last week.

How long has it taken people to go from "FC" to "UCR"?

I think it's weird that Penn is looking at people's files out of order, mainly because they (in the past) have tended to go out decisions in the order in which files went complete.

Yeah, I'm not a fan. But it seems as if they are deviating from last year's pattern, in terms of status checker/UCR dates, so it's hard to say how they are going about business this year.

Regardless, I hope they start calling ED this week and RD next week so we can all have our decision by Xmas. I don't think Penn holds on to the file UCR for as long as some other schools who shall remain unnamed.

That's good to know! I can't believe how long Duke needs to review a simple file!

I think they are loading my essays into a program and analyzing how many times I use each letter to determine if I fit their class profile. I've been UR there since 10/11. I think it's a de facto hold/deferral without notification. Same as UVA. At least Cornell was nice enough to notify me of a deferral.

R6, I doubt they'd WL your numbers unless they were afraid of YP.

They received my app on October 4, I got a completion email on October 8, and I just went "Under Committee Review" today.

So don't hold your breath.

... You went complete in 4 days, it's been 4 weeks for me, and you're tell me to just keep waiting?
That's weird advice, unless you meant to say it went complete November 8 and not October 8

Haha actually no, I went complete in four days - I think because I applied so early. Well, I got an email four days later but my status checker said 10/18 Complete and just went UCR today 12/6.....so I guess either way you aren't going to be thrilled about this news, since it took 2 months for me to go UCR. If it's any consolation, it's still a big mystery to me how all this stuff works.

I guess the moral here is: we should all delete our TLS accounts and get on with our sad lives until we hear news straight from the source.

And yes, keep waiting because you probably won't find a better alternative!! :?: (deranged smile)

My application has been processing for a little over three weeks. I decided not to worry about it for now, but I might give them a call in another week or two if it's not complete by then.
