The admissions office here is small and personal. Anytime I called them last year they already knew who I was [and my applications details] after I told them my name. Rest assured that your applications are at least getting the attention they deserve and, believe me, they will let you know if you've been accepted or not...eventually
This scares me into believing that softs actually matter.

Why else would they spend so much time reviewing our apps?
You're at/above the medians. You have nothing to worry about!

Me, on the other hand... :?
At least you're a lock at UVA if your other schools don't go as planned!

too bad i think GULC did and mailed it... lol I think they're not going to be fond of the idea of sending another one.
if we're at our current address until law school, any need to fill this out?

What does in review mean as far a as a time frame for a decision? I am a status checker idiot 9yet am also compulsive about it) just went under review at BC today and would loooove to know what the heck that means.

Finally some honesty. It depends by school, but really it means that you will have a decision of some sort as some point in the next 2-9 months.

First reported decision came out 3rd Friday of Nov last year. So if that's any indication, end of next week should yield some acceptances.

Me too. I'm going to call after class today. I need the assurance that my application will be processed on time for EA.

Yeah, I was considering calling just to make sure that I made the EA deadline since I submitted a little before midnight EST on November 1. I'll probably just ride it out and hope I'm complete by Nov 15.

So, "review" is pretty much meaningless. I like that... it's like putting a little toy in a big box just to make a kid feel like they got something.

"Review" may mean different things at different schools, but it's not meaningless. You haven't really given us enough information for us to speculate on what "review" means in the instant case.

I just talked to the admissions office.

They said that as long as 1) your application was submitted before the EA application deadline, and 2) all your application materials are received before the EA completion deadline, any lags on behalf of the admissions office will not be held against you.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
