Yeah... I've been doing that too. I think I've checked at least 5 times just since TT09 got in. I'm going to drive myself insane before I find out!

That probably isn't a good sign. I applied here for the spring 2011 class, and they sent me a rejection as late as possible, like mid december.

Do you get a good sense that most of your fellow 3L's have decent jobs lined up? I know people don't really go to South Texas thinking biglaw, but do the people who do have jobs lined up feel comfortable with the amount that they will be making compared to the debt that they took on to go to STCL?

I know a lot of folks who have jobs lined up but since the economy has gone to shit most employers are waiting on if you pass the bar. Most folks aren't stressing too much as of yet. The amount of debt, on average, is pretty low for STCL. I think the official numbers are around 75k and I think I'm right around that if not a little above.

What is the living situation there? I am familiar with the Houston area as far as street names go but have no idea where apartments or housing would be. Thank you in advance for your response.

I live in the Bellaire/West U area. It's inside the loop and about a 10min commute door to door. Lots of folks in in the medical area or the Heights. I don't know too many people who live in the midtown area but anywhere between 610 north to i10, south to 59 east to the school would be fine.

IN! No email yet though... I actually found out first from some apartment search/realtor person who congratulated me on my acceptance. Only then did I check the status checker. Seems odd.

I think a few other people have said the same thing regarding the lost emails - anybody know what they are doing about this? Should I wait for a snail mail or call up there for an email?

Congrats! If you call them on Monday they should get the email out to you, I got accepted Wednesday and didn't get the email til yesterday.

my status checker still hasn't changed. I really hope I get in. I do not want to go to St. Mary's. Not that its that bad of a school.

Yeah, I was accepted Friday via status checker, so I'm assuming Monday's the day for my e-mail to show up.
