Rejected for fall 2011. I opted to be considered for the spring. A little bit disappointing but it will make choosing a school easier.

How did you find out? My status checker hasn't updated since completion in November.

Just checked my status and it says decision letter mailed.... jesus. If I get rejected from Baylor, it's going to hurt my ego. It's not even on my radar with my other acceptances but ... wow - I'm scared! LOL

Does anyone know when they'll have all decisions out by for the summer start? I know last year you had to respond by the 15th of February, so you would assume before then, right?

Is anyone familiar with timing for hearing back about spring admission if you were denied for the fall? The rejection letter said that they would reinstate my application in the next week or so. Just looking for a range on when I should expect to hear back.

I guess he is doing okay. As far as the law school goes, he has an office on the faculty floor that, last time I walked by, is empty. Rumor is he will start teaching at some point, but as of right now he isn't on the Spring 2011 course listing. He gave a speech at the law school about a month ago about the role of the solicitor general, but I had to miss it due to a P.C. voir dire exercise that went from 2-7 that afternoon/evening.

I haven't met a transfer student so I can't say. I am sure they are there I just don't know what their numbers were or what schools they came from. In my experience it's usually people here trying to get our rather than vice versa.

Good luck! Is Baylor one of those schools that goes from Complete to Decision with no In Review status?

I hope this is true - please someone verify. I've been stuck on complete since the day I applied, both for summer and fall.

I had a "Complete and no decision as of yet" for a status for almost 2 months... I don't think I ever saw a review. But, of course, that one implied it had been reviewed...

I'm pretty sure. That's what others were saying. I have been complete since 11/18 and nada since. For fall and summer. :\

So there was a transition from "Complete" to "Complete and... months"?

Mine were both rejections (spring/summer) but it went complete and then decision mailed, the snail mail was the longest wait out of my 12 or so decisions so far.

I just got into Baylor (with $) a few days ago, and I was wondering about Baylor's reputation within the state of Texas. Does anyone know how highly regarded the law school is? Particularly in relation to other Texas law schools?

Was your letter sent on 1/21? I'm trying to figure out if all those sent on that date are rejections/acceptances/both...

Right. I don't remember seeing a status actually saying "In Review" but I haven't been checking this one as often as others so I could have missed it.
