The wait is especially painful because Davis is my #1, and I'd like to start making plans around them. They're making it very tough on me.
Exact same shoes as you. Except your numbers blown mine away and you're essentially a shoe in while i am clinging on a prayer.

FINALLY "evaluation in progress". Went complete in early November. At this rate, the review should take about 4-5 months....

Complete 11/17
No movement. Davis is really a top school for me. Should I be considering submitting a LOCI?

Hahaha. But seriously, I think you're supposed to save them for a WL situation, not just when they are incredibly slow.

Definitely this!
At this point, I just want to get in for pride's sake. I have no intention of attending, LOL

Did anyone apply for the MLK Public Interest Scholarship? If so, stats and content of your letter?
I'm 3.76 170 and wrote about helping prisoners receive legal assistance while working for the ACLU in DC.

I applied 1/5.
Got an email requesting I send updated transcripts.. they seem to respond to emails unusually fast, but my file status hasn't changed since it went incomplete waiting for transcripts.
Does anyone else find it funny that their article on TLS says that the dating scene there is pretty active? I think the actual line is "[at Davis law] dating is prevalent" or something like that... that’s a pretty funny thing to include in an article...

It would be for me too. When did you go complete? I've been stuck Awaiting Eval since 12/1.
Edit: Nevermind, saw your LSN profile. Best of luck.

11/17... It's been a while, I've sprouted quite a few gray hairs waiting.

After a 4 month wait I'm IN. Wanted to check whether my status had finally moved to evaluation in progress and to my surprise I had been admitted. I was 'waiting for evaluation' last Monday (that's the last time I checked). So Davis may be able to move quickly after all

Davis was a top choice of mine, but I am still awaiting evaluation and thinking about the scholarship offers I got from other schools I applied to.
-_-
Edit* Congrats Chouchous!

Thank you! Good luck to you. I had almost given up on davis (stopped checking status daily etc.) and here I am...so don't give up hope yet. It seems like I got in the day they received my fall grades.

I never even saw that my status changed to eval in progress. For me it took at most 14 days or so. I did not receive any notification. Just randomly checked my status this morning and the letter of acceptance was posted there.
