i got my initial admission packet today. i assume if there was no mention of a scholarship in that packet that i'm not getting one. can anyone confirm this? thanks.

if this is the case, no way am i attending kent at sticker... thanks but no thanks kent.

Packet received in the mail today. $15k annual scholarship, renewable with a 3.25. 50% renews with a 3.0, or I could take a guaranteed $9k per year.

According to the letter, a 3.25 is top 25-30% of the class.

oh man, so not only did i not get one, but for those that did, it's an awful scam. top 1/4 of class for 15k?

I've been admitted! Dinged by Northwestern, accepted to DePaul, Kent, John Marshall (the latter of which is definitely OUT). Still waiting on Illinois, Loyola, Wisconsin. Hopefully Kent can compete with the scholarship offer DePaul presented. The waiting game. Anyone have a tranquilizer gun I can borrow?

I'm in with 10k a year as long as I remain enrolled, its guaranteed. I have full ride offers at lower, albeit lower ranked schools, so I'm not sure how I feel.

For those of you who have been admitted- today I got an email from kent prompting me to set up my account for their admitted student website (I think it's called myIIT). I was admitted a few days ago, but haven't yet gotten the snail mail letter that I'm hoping will contain scholarship info. Has anyone figured out if scholly info can be found anywhere on the admitted students site? Thanks!

It is not. You can select that section once you're logged in and set up, but (I'm assuming not until you've made your seat deposit) you don't have access to the financial aid section.

Pleased that I was accepted via status checker yesterday. Kent is well known for trial advocacy, which is awesome. Hopefully other great schools accept me, as well, and I eagerly await Kent's acceptance packet!

just went under "final review." For those that have heard back, how long did you wait between "final review" and "decision?"

My application went complete 12.01, and, if I'm recalling, I was put to final review 12.14. Not 100% sure on that. I was accepted 12.22. If it says "final review," my guess is it should not take a super long time to find out, but I'd give it a few weeks.

I was in "final review" about 2.5 weeks until status checker changed to admitted.

That was on Dec 17th, and I still haven't gotten anything in the mail! I'm assuming the holidays caused the delay, but 2 weeks is some sloooww mail.

Admitted 12/22, like said .. and yeah, I have not received anything in the mail. Hopefully that happens soon!

I think Kent lied about when they mailed these letters. I'm so ready to see what the money looks like... that is, if there's any to look at.
