Re: 2010 Splitters Application Thread
I'm in at Suffolk. I applied before my new LSAT score, so I was pleased they let me in so quickly. Not my top choice, but I'd be happy there- their faciliites and faculty are pretty great.

Still waiting for pretty much every school. Dinged at Texas but offered 19k/year at W&M. I don't really want to go there, but the offer was fairly generous for my numbers from what I can tell on LSN. Finally a little proof that my LORs and PS don't completely stink.

In at Texas (3.46/174 w/ about 4.0 after terrible freshman year). Haven't heard from anywhere else yet. Good luck everyone!

Just got accepted to DePaul. This is the first school I've heard back from so far... Hoping for more to follow in the next couple weeks.

In at WUSTL and Fordham today via email. I was a strong consider on LSP though, so it's not the biggest surprise. Happy nonetheless.

So far the only school I've heard from was W&L, where I am now on the waitlist.
I'm still waiting for my first acceptance...

Splitter love from GULC and Berkeley this week. Still amazed about Berkeley given their reputation for preferring high GPA.

Whoa Berkeley admitting splitters? What are your stats, if you don't mind sharing?Kiwi917 wrote:Splitter love from GULC and Berkeley this week. Still amazed about Berkeley given their reputation for preferring high GPA.

Check Berkeley's LSN. It's kinda random. I think they're actually really holistic.wiseguy33 wrote:Whoa Berkeley admitting splitters? Re: 2010 Splitters Application Thread
I still can't quite believe it - I was fully expecting a rejection. 3.5x, 176 (retake). I was skeptical when I first applied, but I agree with Hannibal, they really seem to be holistic.wiseguy33 wrote:Whoa Berkeley admitting splitters? Thanks Kiwi! We have semi-similar numbers, so that gives me hope. And I'm certainly hoping what you guys say about Berkeley being holistic is true! Good luck/congrats to everyone. (Can't hurt to spread the love for a little good karma this month right?

Thanks! I'm really not sure. I really can't afford sticker anywhere, so I'm going to wait and see how the schollies settle out.
