No it actually goes to "in review"
Do you know how long it typically takes to go from complete to review?

Me too.Maybe that's why? Are you in a similar, non auto-admit situation?

I'm stuck at "Complete" since 10/13... <25% GPA (though I'm not too far off), >75% LSAT, and 'SC alum...

Me too. I'm a high LSAT low GPA splitter. Maybe that's why? Are you in a similar, non auto-admit situation?
I'm at the median for LSAT, between 25th and median for GPA, so no, I'm not an auto-admit either.

I've been under review since 11/8 but my status today says the same but the date changed to 11/22.
Acceptances usually start in December right? Per the TLS chart anyway.

i think so... but it also seems like they put people under review more quickly this year than last. so i'm hoping for something sooner.

+1. Seriously I need some good news before the holidays...
Plus work is so slow right now...
Would rather be busy so I don't have to keep turning to TLS for distraction. But late Nov - Dec is always a slow time for my work...then it picks up again in January.

Anyone write a DS for USC that wasn't based on ethnic, racial, LGBT or socio-economic diversity?

If last year is any indication we're about 3 weeks away from first decisions.
Who else is pumped?

If I'm still on complete and not under review, that means I'm not being admitted right?

No... It just means you haven't gone under review yet. When did you submit?

submitted 11/11, complete the same day, under review 11/15 (I think.. the date changed to 11/22, still under review).
It's entirely possible that none of this really matters.

Well, there's also probably a correlation between going under review early and being an auto-admit. I would wager that most of those who are already under review will be admitted, and also that they have numbers above USC's medians.
Edit: Of course, being admitted doesn't depend on going under review early, so this isn't anything to worry about. All it means is that you're not an auto-admit (assuming that you submitted your app long ago).

Early/Mid October. LSAT Median, GPA slightly over 25%, so definitely not an auto admit by any means. Still, it's a top choice of mine.

I was accepted at USC last year, and the first notification was a letter in a standard-sized envelope by snail mail, followed by a larger packet a couple of weeks later. A few days before this, the status checker changed to DF.

I am guessing DF means decision final?
