I had a dream that I was waitlisted at Idaho last night. Funny thing is, I've never been to Idaho, received any communication from their law school, applied there, etc. They do have a law school, right? Anyway, I just remember opening a large packet from them and inside was a written critique of my application expressing things that made me good/bad and a numerical score of my app. I was 5 points shy of being admitted outright, but the person writing said I was 5th on the waitlist. Really, really weird. So go to hell Idaho.

I'm thinking about spending the $100 and wasting my precious time applying to Yale just so I can bash them in this thread. Thoughts?

I had a dream that GULC made its enormous non-priority waitlist (myself included) fight it out for the remaining ten spots. My yogic drive for inner peace didn't hold up so well against an army officer, and needless to say, I lost my chance.

What kind of Jesuit values make a two hundred pound army officer knock out a girl for a freakin seat?!?

As long as you knock her out ad majorem dei gloriam, I think you're good. Sometimes you gotta fight to be a man for others.

Harvard. Ding date: 1/29

I didn't really want the distinction of being the dumbest person in the class.

Also, Harvard Law is probably where Barack Obama learned to be such a spineless, approval-seeking, "post-partisan" sellout anyway.

Ha, you're right. I shouldn't take my Harvard-ding-fueled feelings of frustration and insecurity out on Obama.

Yeah I was hoping to feel the same way, but sadly that's just not the case (yet). Remember, hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, etc etc

In fact, we didn't really care enough to try that hard. If we had sent version 4B from our personal statement library we definitely would have gotten in but who cares, I don't even care.

I'll start: Berkeley. Ding date: 01/14/10

Umm, I don't want to listen to global warming propaganda for three years anyway. I eat red meat. Back off peta, your toyota prius is burning dead animals too. Earthquakes. Too liberal. Volatile economy. Hippies. Whatever.
I'm re-posting the rules (see above) in order to get the Ding Bar back on track. This is about retaliation, vengeance, and truth.... (about how truly abysmal some of the more pretentious, ding-happy, T1 poser-schools are, and more)

Dinged at HLS. I wouldn't want to go to somewhere that took two months to reject someone with numbers below their 25th; I mean, what, they can't figure out how to use that "Law School Prediction Calculator" website? :P

Fuck. I'm dinging myself for knowing what Lilly Pulitzer dresses are. They're bright and colorful and have many flowers everywhere. In my defense, I'm married. With that said, and re: NYU, the extent of the tightness required of my jeans would cut off the circulation to my balls. That's an uncomfortable three years. FU-NYU, not FUN-YU.

I have been looking forward to posting here

Screw you Yale, I didn't want to be some hoity-toity ivory-tower self-satisfied circle-jerk prig anyway. Also, your class size is too small, I already went to high school once thanks. Oh and New Haven is nasty and damp and horrible, and Connecticut is full of douches!

Yeah!

Dear Yale,

You say you don't want Monkeygirl?? The truth is that you can't HANDLE monkeygirl   !!!

New Haven has ONE decent pizza place, and you need to sacrifice your firstborn at the door in order get a seat in less than an hour, give me a break.

Another thing....I know who scaled your tower and flew the pirate flag from it in 1992, and now you'll never find out.

(Btw, remember when I offered you my soul? Well, the deal's off  .)

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
