I sent mine in last Friday, and I got an email from them today confirming it. They probably move through them pretty quickly.theantiscalia wrote:I don't think it will; the forms had to be received by today. I overnighted mine, and they've already processed it... I'd think they'd know by 5:00 how many second deposits they have.txhorn wrote:This is gonna take a while thencheesus wrote:We had to send a check and the form by mail.txhorn wrote:Is the deposit by mail, online or phone?
That said, I do believe the class is pretty full. The Facebook group has a large number, and people like myself who are still employed haven't joined (since we don't want our employers to know). But there will still be waitlist activity... there always is. Just be sure to keep in contact with the admissions office!

On a side note, to those on the waitlist, if you are basing numbers on the Facebook group, don't be too disheartened. I know that there are a number of current 1L, 2L, and 3L's there, along with other people who are not 0L (soon to be 1L's) at NDLS. I can think of at least 4 or 5 that are members in the group but not 'soon to be 1L's'. LoL, sorry if I confused anyone with my rambling, but thought I would bring some semi-good news to the thread and waitlisters. Good Luck to all you guys and I hope to see a number of you at ND this fall.

That makes me feel a bit better... Notre Dame is my top choice and i am hoping to sneak in off the wait list. I don't know if anyone has any experiences with this or input, but i am from south texas and considering driving up there to visit and talk to admissions so that they know im serious. I wish i could fly but money is tight. Does anyone think this will help my chances significantly?

Fake a gun with your finger and point it through your jacket pocket then ask to see whomever is in charge of your admissions.mafrench wrote:That makes me feel a bit better... :\Will scholarships or grants be available to those admitted off the waitlist?
It is unlikely that any scholarship or grant money will be available to those admitted from the waitlist. If you will be relying on loans to pay for law school, you should review your FAFSA to ensure that the NDLS code (1841) is included.

Also regarding the WL letter, if you are considered for admission, you'd get a phone interview? What does the interview consist of?

A conference call battle rap versus another WL applicant to show who "wants it more". Yo, you got one shot, one opportunity...The freestyle will be to the beat of 2Pac's "Hail Mary". Oh, and maybe a couple of questions about why you want to go to ND and/or be a lawyer.txhorn wrote:Also regarding the WL letter, if you are considered for admission, you'd get a phone interview? No, you must integrate your reasons for ND and also insult the other candidate's mother in the freestyle itself.2013ek wrote:A conference call battle rap versus another WL applicant to show who "wants it more". I just got a call from admissions. Sounds like they're starting to review people. Too bad I've been down with the plague and was asleep when they called. I probably said something stupid. Just fabulous.
