Basically how I felt after my interview too. Fingers crossed, but I feel so anxious nowcapnobvious123 wrote:Checking in, just submitted my interview (a day after the 10 day suggested window, oops). Not thrilled with how it went, ran my mouth too much and got cut off a few times (60 seconds is too damn short) and also felt like I talked about the same 3 things for every question. Whoops.

Looks like V-Day just turned into D-Day, I'm ready for review after interviewing 2/02. Had to cancel my date so I could continue refreshing my email.

Anyone yet have luck negotiating scholarship with Cornell? Particularly with Michigan as a bargaining chip?

I'm in via voicemail! 3.84/167 with a bad grade trend, and pretty weak softs since I'm still in undergrad. Best of luck everyone!Instrumental wrote:lmaoooooMakeMeBigRed wrote:Looks like V-Day just turned into D-Day, I'm ready for review after interviewing 2/02. Arghhhh just did the interview, completely bombed the written questions - hardly answered them, was incredibly vague, and didn't finish a couple. Definitely expecting a ding after that, which is a shame, 'cause I really like Cornell. Hopefully my enthusiasm in the spoken part was apparent

+1. Was thrown some real curveballs in the written section that I had no idea what to even talk about or how to begin to tackle the question haha20172017 wrote:Arghhhh just did the interview, completely bombed the written questions - hardly answered them, was incredibly vague, and didn't finish a couple. Right?! For my first one, it took me like 2 or 3 minutes to just wrap my head around the question and to start typing...ah well - what's done is done, if they're turned off, so be it (and I wouldn't blame them haha).dwall1121 wrote:+1. Re: Cornell c/o 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
Been over two weeks since my interview and between that length of time, my desire to attend to Cornell, and the bloodbath LSN portrays Cornell as with regards to splitters this cycle... I'm getting really worried.
Is it a bad idea to send them a LOCI preemptively before I get rejected/waitlisted? I sent them a "Why Cornell" essay before my interview and am worried I didn't get enough opportunity to really express my desire for Cornell during the interview. I have plenty more I wanted to say and don't know if an LOCI as a second "Why Cornell" would be too pushy. They honestly are my favorite school, though I've never explicitly told them so.
Thoughts? GPA ~= 25th, LSAT > 75th. Thank you.

Re: Cornell c/o 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
I'm afraid I can't do that. The part of the LSN chart I fall on is disheartening. It looks like I have a better shot at Columbia than Cornell this year and that makes me sad.ZVBXRPL wrote: Chill out man! You're not the only one waiting two weeks.
