Guys, is there an average amount of time between UR1 and decision/FR? Or it's all random.

So I gather no scholarship decisions today? (I ask even though I know it's only approaching COB on the East Coast...)

My hope of hearing today is certainly dwindling...

+1 :(

Kind of sad/annoyed they had a specific date we would begin to hear back on the website if they weren't actually going to announce anything on said date (aka today).

But who knows, maybe they'll send out the e-mails right at the end of the day before they go home!

Or maybe they have already sent out emails but their email system gets jammed like earlier this month when their FR result emails showed up the day after they were sent.

Unless someone is working overtime, it looks like we'll have to hope for tomorrow.

I got a packet from Berkeley today and I got excited thinking I was accepted and they just forgot to email or update my status checker, but it was just the booklet thingy I requested a month or so ago.

I'd label the likelihood somewhere between 0% and "so you're saying there's a chance!"

Waiting to hear on $$$ going out is killing me. Berkeley and UVA are in my top 3, and have ASW the same date :? Love to check out the school but not sure I can justify choosing Berkeley's over UVA when Virgina has money on the table, and as of now, not sure what, if anything Berkeley will offer.

Yeah a bunch of people barely got anything and went to other schools lol. People are hoping that they will be more generous since they don't match anymore.

So last year they didn't have two "waves" of $$$ notifications but rather they just came whenever?

big_willy_style_333 wrote: Yeah, it seems like they were given very little information as to timeline, and the information they were given sometimes proved to be incorrect. I also saw multiple instances of exploding offers (one person got a scholly offer at 9 AM and was told they had to either accept/reject it by 5 PM). It seemed like the fin aid office was very unresponsive and even went off the grid for 6 days IN APRIL because they were moving buildings haha.
 Berkeley's fin aid page explicitly mentions exploding offers and says they frown upon them.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
