Am UR2 as of today. Coincidentally, last night/early this morning I tweeted @NYUlaw with nothing more than "adcomm, if you're reading this: plz." (there's definitely no correlation but I still find it funny)

Nice, glad to see there is still movement! Does everyone at NYU end up going UR2?

Earlier in the cycle, people were getting decisions without going UR2, but it seems like most people now are going UR2.

Based on what I've seen in this thread, it doesn't seem to be much of an indicator so far. NYU is my top choice though so.. It's nice to know I'm not in a "We've seen enough; we'll reject her later" pile somewhere lol

as far as I know, only one person didn't go UR2 and it was Leslie Knope who had like, a 180 and a 4.0 (no exaggeration) and she got in within 3 days of applying.

I think you do have to go UR2 to get in, going forward. just my opinion

as far as I know, only two people didn't go UR2, off the top of my head I think it was VapidP and the other was LeslieKnope who applied and got in within like, 3 days.

I think you might have reason to worry if it's like, March and you haven't gone UR2 after applying in Oct/Nov.

I think you do have to go UR2 to get in, going forward. just my opinion

What do you mean? It seems like it probably would have been an automated process which somehow has [SO LOGICALLY] led to me thinking it would be an auto reject? Idk now that I type it out I realize... i'm being ridiculous

orrr a v busy admin/prof took the break to catch up on some of their papers? As a daughter of someone in academia, they don't really take breaks on vacation.

TBH I've had way worse paranoid/ridiculous thoughts than this. I get it.

As someone interested in International Law, their abroad program is extremely desirable to me. I'd have to do some serious soul searching if I got into NYU and say HYS.

But realistically, they are all reaches so I prob won't have the luxury of that decision

I'm UR1 from 11/11 too.

I wasn't originally too worried about getting in with my LSAT one point below median and my GPA at the 75th I thought I had a pretty good shot but the wait is making me think strange thoughts.

Realistically, they're probably waiting for Dec people before deciding on my lower LSAT.

Not sure if you were being totally serious, but just to add more info. I was accepted without going UR2 in the first wave of acceptances and my LSAT is one point below 75 and GPA is above 75. I know there were quite a few others who were accepted at the same time as I was who did not go UR2.

I'm not sure if I went UR2 either. I was accepted within 2 weeks of my completion date.

Does NYU has a low GPA cut-off? If so, how low do you think it is, assuming the candidate is at or above 75% for LSAT.

Additionally, does NYU has a clearer GPA cut-off than other schools? For example, Northwestern will take someone with 3.0 or lower GPA, and Berkeley cares a lot more about GPA than LSAT. How would you say NYU vs Cornell vs Penn vs Duke on this?

What's the lowest GPA you know from admitted students?
