Super happy about the Levy!! I wonder what percent of invitees receive the scholarship?

I'd be interested to know this about the Wilson too. Percentage of invitees getting the $$, I mean.

Hi all, congrats to those with invites to apply for scholarships! Also, good luck to everyone waiting for Decision Monday!

In the email asking me to write an essay for the Silverman-Rodin Scholarship, they told me that they "encourage brevity" but that there is no word limit because I should respond how I see fit. Is 2 full pages double spaced considered to be disrespectful of their wish for brief essays? How should I interpret brevity here? Thanks so much!

As far as I know, only named scholarships have gone out so far and I think those were calls (didn't get one though so I'm not sure). I'm still waiting on scholarship info, not sure when the rest of us will be notified

FYI guys, I asked my caller about this and she said they have different deadlines for applying for certain programs, like toll, for different groups of accepted students. Maybe this doesn't affect the named schollies, but it might mean they come in waves as well.

The named scholarship notifications were by emails. Also they haven't given them out yet, just notified people of their candidacy; the candidates still have to write an essay and get selected
