I was most excited to apply to Michigan, but now it's feeling anticlimactic, whatever the outcome. My travel money is spent, my vacation days are running out. I was so excited to visit, don't know how I could pull that off now. :(

Idk how relevant this is, but I just called Michigan about the timing of a scholarship decision and they said it would be delayed because Dean Z. was out. Perhaps this also explains the apparent cessation of decisions recently.

oh well
no change in status checker this morning

ETA: Michigan's correspondence is, as always, nothing short of delightful. Why couldn't they be jerks so that I could hate them?!?

Waitlisted as well (167/3.69) - Complete around 01/21... will be riding it out, anyone know how much movement there is on it?

Michigan has, by far, the best admissions staff...

I came in to say the same thing. At first I was like, "Oh great, wait list." But then I was like, "But what a readable email!"

WL'd. best waitlist email ever? I got waitlisted at 4 schools last cycle and this is by far the nicest email I've seen
