Yes, if you originally said that you wanted to be considered for both need and merit aid, you have to submit need access before they make a decision.

Best I can tell they are doing scholarships within a few weeks of having FASFA, Need Access and the interview done.

I don't believe FAFSA is needed for them to consider. Just NeedAccess.


Also, no NeedAccess required if you applied for merit only.

It looks like the scholarship decisions can take a little while to arrive even after they are mailed. My status checker says that my decision was mailed on February 11th, and I have yet to receive it. Hopefully comes soon.

I don't think so. Mordecai invites have come after acceptance. Plus, I know of someone who didn't originally receive a Mordecai invite but when it came time for their scholly interview, it was with the dean & they were awarded the Mordecai.
