I am ED2, submitted 12/4/2013, complete 12/5/2013 and just got UR 1/13/2014.
I am non PT. I live locally in Durham and work as an engineer.
I wrote a why Duke, mostly about the environmental program since I work as an air quality regulator.
Duke is a reach (really far) school for me; I will post an update as soon as a decision is made for others to compare. Since I plan to stay in the public sector I could only hope to afford to go to Duke because they have an awesome LRAP program (also my husband is a doctor and supports my decision to work in the public sector since we both grew up poor in rural NC and chose careers to give back locally).
For those out of state, I can say Durham has a really nice climate and really awesome local restaurants.

Got in today through PT. GPA>75, LSAT<75.
I am amazed by the adcomm as it really took them exactly 10 calendar days, 4 of which were weekends.
Duke is definitely one of my top choices, so I'm glad to have the opportunity.

I had been complete since 10/28 but went UR on 1/6. Seems like they starting going over a lot of RD apps that day.

I did but my app is in permanent stasis it seems. I submitted in October and haven't heard a thing besides an email asking me to clarify a portion of the app. I was hoping that maybe a bunch or JD llmle's were waiting as well.
It might have something to do with the fact that my grad program and the summer session overlap. But I figured that if it were a concern, they'd roll me over to the regular admissions pile. I think I shot myself in the foot here.

I was PT, so that may also have to do with why I've heard back so early. I would suggest contacting them if you haven't already to explain what can be done with the overlap of your grad school program and the llmle (and ask if you should be considered for simply the JD). Hopefully you'll hear good news soon, but I would do that in the meantime.

That was more or less my response
I do think it is somewhat rarer for not PT people to get PR but i'm not entirely sure.

Around 25th LSAT. Above 75th GPA. Urm.

If the application cycle was a Friday night out, Duke was the pre-game. Right now, there are absolute ragers at UVA and Penn. I think towards the end of the night, people are going to head over to Harvard, Columbia, and Chicago, but earlier I had a blast at Michigan and might just head back over there.
I think Berkeley's at home drinking alone, and Chicago is still at the library.

Did anyone else that did or is doing PT get 2 URs?
1/08 complete
1/09 UR1
1/14 UR2
I did send a Why Duke essay on the 13th and I'm just praying that the first review was able to consider it. Super nervous because 10 days are almost up.....

We'll find out by Saturday the 18th most likely as many ITT have noted that Duke utilizes a 10 calendar day guarantee for PT. You're UR1 to UR2 turnover was super quick. I wonder what that means.
