Offered space on Duke's "Priority Reserve list."

Any idea what this means? My numbers are above both of Duke's 75 percentiles and I didn't write a "Why Duke?" Possible YP?

I'm going to write a LOCI. Any idea what my chances are of getting accepted?

I wrote a "Why Duke" with very high numbers as well and also got on the "Priority Reserve list".

You all are starting to scare me with this YP thing haha. I'm well above both 75th's and the more I think back the more I think I kind of half-assed my Why-Duke (I wrote a short paragraph saying I'm in the Carolinas now and I wanna stay).

I promise I want to go there Duke, I really do.

I was priority reserve list. Above 75 for LSAT, below 25 for GPA. From what I can tell, those on the PR have a decent shot of acceptance, assuming they keep in contact. I was PR in November (I think), wrote a LOCI every month (so two), and submitted an additional LOR. Accepted February 1st.

My big worry is about bothering adcoms, but this doesn't seem to be the case for Duke. Dean Hoye has said in a couple of publications that he prefers WL applicants to stay in touch regularly, to the tune of every 3-4 weeks.

Admitted last night via e-mail! Numbers are in profile. How long until the application for financial aid arrives, and how long until we then hear about scholarship information? Just getting a little antsy, I feel like deposit deadlines are getting close and I still am missing so much necessary information to make a decision lol.

I'm assuming on your status checker it said watch for e-mail?

I actually have no idea. My computer got a virus on Tuesday and has been with our IT department since. I found out by checking my e-mail with my phone. I suppose I can dig through my e-mail and find the status checker that way though.

EDIT: Yes, as of 2/8 it says decision made, watch for e-mail.

I've been under review with no response since 11/28. I really really really (I can't stress this enough) would like to go to Duke, and my numbers aren't exactly the strongest. Would it behoove me to write an LOCI at this point, or should I just keep waiting, hoping, and dreaming?
