My App has been complete since the 13th of Dec. and has not received an UR; I submitted on the 22nd of Nov. Perhaps this will be of some use to someone.

I think you're fine. I submitted earlier than you, went at least a week earlier than you and just went under review 01/06

Submitted September, 1st UR October, new UR today!

Edit: new UR only happened today but it has yesterday's date. A Sunday?

That's weird - my status checker updated from 1/4 to 1/8, but I'm pretty sure there wasn't an update when I went to bed last night. Oh well, either way any movement is exciting.

Maybe yesterday is the big UR date for all those about to receive decisions that someone mentioned earlier in this thread.

Has anyone had 3 UR dates (including 1/8)? Or is the 1/8 update only the second update from everyone that's received it?

My guess is no- if you look at last year on lsn and sort by complete date, it looks like most (if not all) of the early applicants heard on the first day. As I posted above I was complete in september and have had no UR update since 12/14. But you never know!

If that's the case, then wouldn't they be going in reverse order of submission date? I think the waves of 2nd UR dates have been following order of submission, so it's probably not meaningful beyond that.

Yes, that's right. It looks like they do it in batches based on when the applicant applied. I briefly talked to the admissions committee in October and they said as much.

just hypothesizing i thought there were some people from early december/november URs that updated, but I don't follow this thread too closely. sorry for the confusion!

Yeah, I think the 12/14 group was the first batch of 2nd UR updates. I imagine those will be the first to hear back (but that may be wishful thinking on my part, since I'm one of them).

Good news everyone:

Im on a trip with my school to visit all the northeast law schools (from Texas, so Chicago IS northeast. Lol). We are at U Chicago now and the admissions rep said a very large batch of decisions will be out via email at the  end of the week/early next week. I submitted in early October and she said I would definitely find out in the next couple weeks. HTH!!
