weird, hls is really seeming to be placing a high emphasis on gpa for these early kb1's

still waiting here, too. 10/22 submission. 11/10 complete email. Wow that's surprising. That would lead me to believe they're not going in exact order. *crosses fingers*xkcd09 wrote:still waiting here, too. 10/22 submission. 11/10 complete email. This makes me feel more at ease; you have close to auto-admit #'s so I wouldn't worry.xkcd09 wrote:still waiting here, too. 10/22 submission. 11/10 complete email. Re: Harvard 2012 applicants (class of 2015)
I think KB is being very conservative with early KB1s this year. It seems that Harvard is only interviewing and admitting auto-admits early this year. That's always true, I guess, but it's still a little shocking to see ppl with 3.8+ and 178+ who haven't heard anything yet. I guess there will just be a lot of winter/spring admits instead. Here's hoping anyway!

Hey all, so my app was received on 11/15, judging from timeline's on this thread, I should probably give it a rest with the status checker multiple times a day, correct? It seems like from the November apps, the wait is ~3 weeks, so I've probably got another week or so of waiting.

Finally complete today!
Submitted 11/8
Under Review 11/22
Complete 12/1
Now for the horrible wait. I think that if I don't hear about an interview in the next week and a half I should probably assume that they've passed me over for now, right?

Why not Soj?? If last year is any indication, the second batch of KB2's should go out the 5th. Then they have to schedule all the KB1's for the third batch. The third batch of KB2's will probably go out the 19th. With my submit/ur/and complete dates I think I'm a "third batcher." So if they are going to inform me of a KB1 they should probably do it in the next 2 weeks.

When you say "second batch," does that include those of us who had our KB1 calls the week of Thanksgiving?FEE wrote:Why not Soj?? Yep! If you had your KB1 during the week of Thanksgiving then I think that you should hear back on the 5th (if you're going to be accepted). If you go to last year on LSN and order the data by the decision date, you can clearly see when all the decisions were released. 11/21 first batch. 12/6 second batch. 12/20 third batch.

Oh, I misread. Yeah, if you're in the third batch of KB2s, you'll hear back about a KB1 within the next two weeks. But even if you get passed over now and held in early January, you'll still have a chance of eventually getting the KB1-KB2.FEE wrote:Why not Soj?? That's what I thought too, but do you think that still holds true given that some people got KB1 emails earlier this week?FEE wrote:Yep! Re: Harvard 2012 applicants (class of 2015)
Had my KB1 a little while ago. Seemed to go just fine.
Folks who were in the earlier batch, how long did you wait between your interview and your KB2?
Has anyone who didn't get a KB2 heard anything else yet?
Good luck everybody!
